  Thank you for visiting our website. My name is Joe McKenzie and I am the president of Sawgrass Construction Group, a custom home building company with a focus on detail and delivery.

  A home of any size can be impressive if it is well-thought-out from beginning to end.

  There are two main phases of the home-building process… they are developing the vision & bringing the vision to life. In the first phase, we work as a team with the Client and Designer to develop a program based on the client’s needs and desires. The second phase is just as critical as the first. This is when the Contractor interprets the design, oversees the project, and finally makes the vision come to life. A good Contractor will listen, have good communication & follow-thru skills, and create a home that reflects you.

  As a registered Florida architect and builder, my goal is to work closely with the client and the designer to reach the goal intended while always keeping budget in mind. We create the best home at the best value, without ever compromising the quality of finishes.
